About Group Yoga Classes
Do you give personal guidance during Yoga classes?
Yes I do. I teach virtual classes only, so that means that all my attention is with the "virtual students". I started teaching these types of classes before the lockdown situation, so I have a lot of experience in guiding my students virtually. If you don't want to receive any feedback on your poses, then please let me know so that I can take that into account.
In which language do you teach the Yoga classes?
I teach in English because there are quite some international Yogis who don't speak Dutch. I can always clarify something to you in Dutch if necessary.
I don't have any experience with Yoga, which type of class would be best for me?
You can join any one of the classes since I teach for All Levels. That being said, the Hatha Yoga classes are generally a bit more accessible to newcomers than the Ashtanga Yoga and Pralaya Yoga classes. If you have any injury, please let me know in advance so that I can take that into account.
Which Yoga props do I need for the classes?
You need a yoga mat and something to sit on, such as a yoga cushion or a yoga block. If you don't have one, you can use any other cushion. In addition to that, for the Pralaya Yoga classes, I recommend you use at least 2 or 3 yoga blocks. We often use these for supported backbends for instance. It is also nice to have a blanket so that you can stay warm at the end of the class when we do Savasana.
I'm not so technical, how easy to use is Zoom?
Zoom is very easy to use. You can login with a desktop/laptop, tablet or mobile phone. Of course, the bigger the screen the better you can see me. If you are using a desktop/laptop, then you simply click on the Zoom Link in your confirmation email to enter the online classroom. If you are using a tablet or mobile phone, then you click on the Zoom Link and you'll be asked to download the Zoom app. Follow the instructions to download the app and after that you can enter the online classroom.
If it's your first class, make sure to login 10 to 15 minutes before the class starts so that I can give you technical assistance if necessary.
Are your Yoga classes suitable for children?
Anyone who is 16+ can join my classes. If you have a child who's a bit younger than 16 who would like to join, that's okay as long as you accompany him or her. Please make sure to sign your children up as well.
About Monthly Memberships
I would like to sign up for a Monthly Membership and use the 30 day free trial, how does it work?
You can choose to sign up with your Credit Card or PayPal account. Even though the total amount is shown in the Order Summary, it will not be withdrawn from your Credit Card or PayPal account during the first 30 days of your membership. You can cancel your membership anytime.
Please note that the 30 day free trial is a limited time offer and that it is not available year round.
How do I cancel my Monthly Membership (Peace, Joy and Bliss Plan)?
Check the start date of your subscription. As an example, let's say that you started your subscription on January 2. That means that your monthly renewal starts on the 2nd of every month. So if you would like to discontinue your membership, then you have to do that before the 2nd of the month. If not, your Credit Card or PayPal account will be charged for that month. So if, for example, you would like to discontinue your membership starting on August 2, then you have to send me an email before that date. If you do that at least a few days in advance, then I have enough time to discontinue your membership on time.
